| The Company has assembled a 285km2 ground holding in the Kalgoorlie region in Western Australia through Purchase and Joint Venture Agreements. These projects form the Kalgoorlie Regional Gold project.
The Project is superbly located just north of Kalgoorlie and is within a triangular area adjacent to three major mining centres including;
- The Golden Mile/Mt Charlotte (+60Moz)
- Kanowna Belle (+5Moz)
- Paddington/Panglo (+3Moz)
The principle geological target in the project is the Kanowna Shear which hosts the Company’s Crossroads and is associated with both the Kanowna Belle and Panglo deposits.
The Company resource entered into agreements with the major miner of the region, Barrick Mines, to both develop the Crossroads resource and explore the regional area. Barrick Gold recently sold the Paddington Operation, which includes Jackson’s Kalgoorlie Gold Project to Norton Goldfields. In the KRGP agreement, Norton has the right to conduct exploration on the project and earn up to 80% of any discovery.
